This is an exceptional wine from the cool climate of Wrattonbully in South Australia, produced by Terre à Terre, a boutique winery founded by Xavier Bizot and Lucy Croser. Known for its meticulous vineyard practices, Terre à Terre focuses on crafting premium wines that reflect their unique terroir. The Crayères Vineyard, named after the deep limestone layers reminiscent of Champagne's chalky soils, is ideal for producing elegant, structured wines. The 2019 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Cabernet Franc, representing the estate’s dedication to showcasing Bordeaux-style blends with an Australian twist. Aged in French oak for 20 months, this wine is a fine example of balance, complexity, and finesse.

Appearance: Deep, vibrant ruby with purple hues at the core, reflecting the wine's youth and concentration.

Aroma: The nose is intensely aromatic, with layers of ripe blackcurrants, dark cherries, and plums, alongside subtle hints of violet and dried herbs. Secondary notes of cedar, tobacco, and sweet spice from the oak aging add complexity and depth.
