Cavalier Bartolomeo Barolo 2012 is a mature, traditionally styled Nebbiolo from Piedmont, offering the evolved complexity and savoury depth expected from bottle-aged Barolo. With its combination of dried red fruit, rose, tobacco and earthy spice, it delivers a refined, structured palate shaped by firm tannins and persistent acidity.

Appearance:

Garnet red with brick-orange reflections and a translucent, mature rim.

Aroma:

Complex aromas of dried cherry, redcurrant and rose petal are layered with leather, tobacco, dried herbs and forest floor. Notes of anise, cedar and earthy spice add further depth.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied and firmly structured, with sour cherry, red plum and dried berry fruit supported by vibrant acidity and resolved yet persistent tannins. Savoury notes of tobacco, liquorice, dried herbs and earth create a classic, mature Barolo profile.

Finish:

Long, dry and complex, with lingering dried red fruit, rose, leather, spice and fine savoury tannins.

Food Pairing:
