Wooing Tree Pinot Noir 2019

Wooing Tree Pinot Noir 2019 is a mature Central Otago Pinot Noir showing the region’s hallmark red fruit, savoury detail and cool-climate freshness. With several years of bottle age, it offers a more evolved profile of cherry, dried herbs and forest floor, supported by fine tannins and balanced acidity.

Appearance:

Garnet red with ruby highlights and a lightly translucent rim.

Aroma:

Aromas of red cherry, raspberry and dried cranberry are layered with rose petal, forest floor and subtle dried herbs. Gentle spice and earthy notes add complexity.

Taste:

Medium-bodied and finely structured, with flavours of cherry, red plum and cranberry supported by fresh acidity and supple tannins. Savoury herbs, spice and a subtle earthy character give the palate maturity and depth.

Finish:

Long and elegant, with lingering red fruit, dried florals and gentle savoury notes.

Food Pairing:

Excellent with roast duck, grilled salmon, pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, game birds or soft-rind cheeses.
