Los Cerros de San Juan, established in 1854, is Uruguay's oldest winery, renowned for producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Colonia region. Their Goleta Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc 2020 is a blend that combines the bold structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with the aromatic finesse of Cabernet Franc. Appearance: Deep ruby red with purple hues, showcasing its youthful vibrancy. The wine is rich in colour, with a nearly opaque core that suggests depth and structure. Swirling reveals slow-moving, well-defined legs, indicating a full-bodied nature and balanced alcohol.

Aroma: Expressive and layered, with aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry, and ripe plum from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet Franc adds herbal notes of green pepper, tobacco, and graphite. Subtle hints of vanilla, clove, and cedar emerge from oak ageing, adding further complexity.

Taste: Full-bodied and structured, with a core of juicy black fruit, including cassis, blackberry, and red plum. The tannins are firm yet polished, providing excellent balance.
