Nickel & Nickel, established in 1997 by the partners of Far Niente Winery, is dedicated to producing single-vineyard, 100% varietal wines that express the distinct personality of each vineyard. The DeCarle Vineyard, located on the western side of Rutherford in Napa Valley, is renowned for its ‘Rutherford dust’ soils, which impart unique characteristics to the wines. This vineyard is meticulously managed to produce Cabernet Sauvignon grapes of exceptional quality, reflecting the terroir’s signature profile.

The 2019 DeCarle Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the harmony between fruit and oak, a testament to Nickel & Nickel’s commitment to excellence. The wine underwent fermentation in stainless steel tanks and was then aged in French oak barrels, allowing for the development of complex flavours and a refined structure.

Appearance: Deep ruby red with a vibrant hue, indicating its youth and concentration. The wine displays excellent clarity, with slow-forming legs that suggest a full-bodied nature and significant alcohol content.
