La Belle de Juillet Extra Brut Pur Meunier 2015 Grand Cru is a focused, terroir-driven Champagne crafted entirely from Meunier, expressing both the ripeness of the 2015 vintage and the finesse of chalky Grand Cru soils. Long lees ageing and a very low dosage frame the wine in a precise, gastronomic style that favours minerality and tension over opulence.

Appearance:

Pale lemon-gold with silvery highlights and a very fine, persistent bead. The mousse is delicate yet creamy, forming a gentle, even cordon around the rim.

Aroma:

Refined and quietly complex, opening with crisp pear, green apple and white peach. Beneath the fruit sit notes of citrus zest, white flowers and wet chalk, followed by subtle autolytic hints of brioche, almond, and a touch of hazelnut as it warms in the glass.

Taste:

Dry, taut and linear on entry, with a silky but energetic mousse. Orchard fruits (pear, apple) and lemon curd are lifted by vibrant acidity, while deeper layers of stone fruit, biscuit and light toasted nuts add dimension.
