Maderos Gran Reserva Cabernet Franc 2018 is a mature, structured expression of Cabernet Franc, offering dark berry fruit, savoury herbs and earthy complexity with the softened tannins that come from bottle age. Rich yet composed, it balances ripe fruit with spice, tobacco and a persistent, savoury finish.

Appearance:

Deep ruby red with garnet and brick-toned highlights showing early maturity.

Aroma:

Layered aromas of black cherry, cassis and plum are complemented by violet, dried herbs and subtle green pepper. Notes of tobacco, cedar, leather and warm spice add complexity.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied and firmly structured, with dark berry fruit supported by fresh acidity and polished tannins. Black cherry, plum and cassis are layered with savoury herbs, graphite, cocoa and gentle oak spice.

Finish:

Long and persistent, with lingering dark fruit, tobacco, dried herbs and fine, savoury tannins.
