The Blewitt Springs Shiraz 2023 is a beautifully pure and finely structured expression of Shiraz, combining the elegance of cool sand-over-clay soils with the richness and spice typical of McLaren Vale.

Blewitt Springs is renowned for its elevated sites and deep, sandy soils that sit atop clay and ironstone, delivering Shiraz with perfumed aromatics, fine tannins, and balanced natural acidity. The fruit is hand-picked, fermented with a combination of whole berries and a portion of whole bunches for aromatic lift, then matured in seasoned French oak to maintain freshness, precision, and texture.

Appearance: Deep ruby-purple with vibrant violet highlights, bright and luminous in the glass. Medium-bodied viscosity, with fine, slow-forming tears.

Aroma: Perfumed and complex, with lifted notes of blackberry, blueberry, and mulberry, layered with subtle black pepper, violets, and hints of crushed herbs and graphite.

Taste: Elegant yet concentrated, showcasing ripe black and blue fruits balanced by savoury spice, fine herbal complexity, and subtle mineral undertones. The texture is silky and refined, with powdery, well-integrated tannins and a core of fresh acidity providing precision and drive.
