Castel Giocondo Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is a polished, classically styled Sangiovese from Frescobaldi’s historic estate in Montalcino. It combines ripe red cherry and plum with floral notes, savoury herbs and fine oak spice, supported by bright acidity and firm, well-shaped tannins that give the wine both elegance and ageing potential.

Appearance:

Deep ruby red with garnet highlights and excellent clarity.

Aroma:

Layered aromas of red cherry, ripe plum and wild strawberry are complemented by violet, dried rose and subtle tobacco. Notes of cedar, spice and Mediterranean herbs add complexity.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied and finely structured, with sour cherry, red plum and red berry fruit supported by vibrant acidity and polished tannins. Savoury herbs, gentle oak and earthy spice provide depth and balance.

Finish:

Long, refined and persistent, with lingering red fruit, tobacco, spice and fine-grained tannins.
