Powerful yet composed, it combines dense dark fruit, savoury spice and mineral depth with firm tannins and impressive ageing potential.

Appearance:

Deep purple-black with dense crimson highlights.

Aroma:

Intense aromas of blackberry, black plum and blueberry are layered with cracked pepper, smoked meat, dried herbs, liquorice and subtle violet notes.

Taste:

Full-bodied and concentrated, with flavours of dark berries, black cherry and plum. Firm, finely grained tannins provide structure, while fresh acidity, savoury spice and restrained oak bring balance and definition.

Finish:

Long and persistent, with lingering black fruit, pepper, earth and mineral complexity.
