Fruit for L'altra is sourced from organically farmed vineyards set on granitic, volcanic-derived soils at high elevations. The cool, continental climate of Macedon Ranges allows for extended ripening periods, fostering grapes with vivid acidity, delicate aromatics, and gentle tannins. Hand-harvested grapes undergo gentle, partial carbonic maceration and minimal oak contact, preserving vibrant fruit expression, subtle complexity, and playful freshness.

Appearance: Bright ruby-red with luminous, translucent crimson hues, demonstrating youthful clarity and freshness. The wine’s elegant viscosity gently coats the glass, displaying delicate, graceful tears.

Aroma: Expressive, vibrant aromas of fresh strawberries, juicy raspberries, and delicate red cherries, accompanied by gentle floral notes of rose petals and subtle violet. Hints of spice, herbs, and soft mineral undertones further enhance aromatic complexity.
