Elderton GSM 2024

Produced in the heart of the Barossa Valley, the 2024 Elderton GSM is a vibrant and generous Rhône-style blend combining Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre. Richly fruited yet beautifully balanced, the wine delivers warmth, spice, and savoury complexity in an approachable and expressive style.

Appearance:
Deep ruby red with youthful purple highlights and excellent brightness.

Aroma:
Aromatic layers of ripe raspberry, red plum, and blackberry are complemented by notes of baking spice, dried herbs, licorice, and subtle earthy undertones. Gentle oak influence adds warmth and complexity.

Taste:
Medium to full-bodied with juicy flavours of red berries, dark cherry, and plum supported by hints of pepper, clove, and savoury spice. Grenache contributes brightness and lift, Shiraz adds richness and structure, while Mourvèdre provides earthy depth and fine tannins. The palate is smooth, balanced, and highly drinkable.

Finish:
Soft, spicy, and persistent, with lingering dark fruit and savoury herbal notes.
