Novum’s Quarters (often written “Quarters/Quartiers”) Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024 is a site-led Marlborough Pinot that sits in the savoury, finely structured end of the spectrum—more about perfume, spice and detail than overt sweetness. Made with a careful, modern hand, it balances bright red fruit purity with earthy nuance and polished tannins, giving it both immediate charm and the bones to evolve.

Appearance:
Medium ruby with a vibrant crimson hue and a youthful, translucent core.

Aroma:
Wild strawberry, red cherry and cranberry, lifted by rose petal and violet. Notes of dried thyme, tea leaf and gentle cedar/wood spice, with a faint forest-floor earthiness.

Taste:
Dry and medium-bodied, with cool-climate energy. Crunchy red berries and cherry skin lead, followed by subtle savoury herbs, fine oak seasoning and a lightly mineral/clay-like undertone. Tannins are fine-grained and present—more “silk and grip” than plush—kept agile by fresh acidity.
