The label design, featuring a detail of the entrance to the Castelvecchio garden, originates from an original drawing by Carlo Rocchi in 1962 during his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks over 12 days, with daily pump-overs and pressings to ensure optimal extraction. The wine is then aged, with 50% maturing in concrete vats and 50% in barriques, followed by further refinement in the bottle.
