Appearance:
Deep crimson with a dark ruby core and a bright rim.

Aroma:
Blackberry, mulberry, and black cherry up front, then cracked pepper, liquorice, dried herbs, and subtle smoked meat. Grenache contributes a red-fruited perfume—raspberry and rose—while gentle oak spice sits in the background.

Taste:
Medium-to-full bodied with a focused, layered palate. Dark fruits and plum skin meet savoury McLaren Vale notes—olive tapenade, pepper, and earthy spice. Tannins are fine but firm, giving a structured, modern feel; acidity keeps it energetic and food-friendly, with Grenache providing brightness through the mid-palate.
