Yalumba Signature Museum Release 2015
Yalumba’s The Signature Museum Release 2015 is a mature, beautifully composed Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz blend from Barossa, released with the added complexity that careful bottle age brings. Crafted by Kevin Glastonbury, it reflects the house’s long tradition of polished, age-worthy reds, offering both generosity and structure in a deeply classical Australian style.
Appearance:
Deep ruby garnet, with a rich, evolved core and a refined crimson edge.
Aroma:
Complex and expressive, showing red and blue fruits, currants, and wild cherry layered with eucalyptus, warm oak spice, black tea, and a gentle savoury earthiness.
Taste:
Full-bodied and seamless, with lovely depth and structure. The palate is fleshy and generous through the mid-palate, carrying dark berry fruit, plum, and currant notes supported by polished tannins and a well-integrated spicy oak frame.
Finish:
Long, warm, and lingering, with savoury spice, fine tannic grip, and a graceful sense of maturity.
Food Pairing:
Superb with beef fillet, roast lamb, venison, or mushroom dishes with earthy, smoky elements. It also pairs beautifully with beetroot and horseradish.
