Kaesler The Bogan Shiraz 2022 is Barossa Shiraz with its boots on—bold, warm, and proudly unapologetic, yet stitched together with real polish. Born from Kaesler’s estate blocks (including vines planted in 1899 and 1965) and shaped by a regenerative-farming mindset, this is a modern classic: dense dark fruit, savoury depth, and fine, persistent tannins. Crafted by Tim Dolan & Stephen Dew, it’s built to impress now and reward time in the cellar.

Appearance:
Bright, deep crimson with a vivid purple hue.

Aroma:
Dark plum and blueberry surge from the glass, layered with peppery spice and a savoury charcuterie edge. French oak adds a smoked “char” note, hints of cocoa and warm cedar-like spice.

Taste:
Classic Bogan in style—dense, rich and full-bodied, packed with dark, layered fruits. The mid-palate brings savoury spice and toasty oak complexity, while the structure stays surprisingly refined, finishing soft with pure, fine-grained tannin.

Finish:
Long and satisfying, tapering from ripe dark fruit into smoky spice and a gently chewy, polished tannin glide.
