Kershaw GPS Series Pinot Noir 2019 is an elegant and terroir-driven expression of cool-climate Pinot Noir from Elgin, South Africa, a region renowned for producing refined and structured wines. Richard Kershaw MW, one of the country’s most respected winemakers, created the GPS Series to highlight exceptional single-site vineyards with unique geological and climatic influences. This Pinot Noir comes from low-yielding vines in rocky shale soils, ensuring depth, precision, and complexity.

The 2019 vintage was marked by moderate growing conditions, allowing for slow ripening and the development of fine tannins and layered aromatics. Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in French oak barrels, this wine showcases both purity of fruit and sophisticated structure.

Appearance: Pale ruby with garnet hues, reflecting its cool-climate origins and delicate extraction.

Aroma: The nose is perfumed and expressive, with aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, and raspberry, interwoven with floral notes of violets and dried rose petals. Subtle hints of forest floor, crushed herbs, and baking spice add complexity.
