Koerner Vivian Sangiovese 2023 is a vibrant, contemporary expression of Sangiovese from South Australia’s Clare Valley. Crafted by brothers Damon and Jono Koerner, it favours freshness, perfume and savoury detail over weight, delivering a bright and energetic red with fine structure and excellent drinkability.

Appearance:

Bright ruby red with translucent crimson edges.

Aroma:

Lifted aromas of sour cherry, raspberry and redcurrant mingle with dried herbs, rose petals, subtle spice and a gentle earthy undertone.

Taste:

Fresh and finely textured, with juicy red fruit, tart cherry and cranberry supported by lively acidity and light, chalky tannins. Savoury notes of herbs, pepper and forest floor add complexity without diminishing the wine’s vibrant character.

Finish:

Dry, refreshing and persistent, with lingering cherry, dried herbs and delicate spice.
