Vergelegen GVB White 2022 is a refined, barrel-fermented white blend from Stellenbosch, combining Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon in a classic Bordeaux-inspired style. Richly textured yet fresh, it balances citrus and stone fruit with savoury complexity, subtle oak and a long mineral finish.

Appearance:

Pale gold with bright straw highlights and excellent clarity.

Aroma:

Layered aromas of grapefruit, white peach and lemon curd are complemented by citrus blossom, lanolin and subtle dried herbs. Gentle notes of toast, vanilla and roasted nuts add depth.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied and finely textured, with ripe citrus, pear and stone fruit supported by vibrant acidity. Creamy lees character, subtle oak spice and a faint saline edge provide complexity and structure.

Finish:
