From the village of Fuissé in southern Burgundy’s Mâconnais, Marcel Couturier’s Mâcon-Fuissé 2022 is a Chardonnay that leans into ripe fruit and subtle oak while keeping the line tight and refreshing—an expressive, modern Mâconnais with both generosity and poise.

Appearance:
Bright straw-gold with a clean, luminous sheen.

Aroma:
White blossom and acacia, ripe pear and golden apple, lemon curd, and a gentle touch of vanilla and toasted almond.

Taste:
Medium-to-full bodied and textural, layering orchard fruit and citrus over a creamy mid-palate. Oak is present but polished, adding nutty warmth and a faint spice while fresh acidity keeps the wine focused and energetic.

Finish:
Long and mouthwatering—honeyed and lightly nutty at first, then tapering to a clean, mineral-tinged close.
