Valli, founded by pioneering winemaker Grant Taylor, is known for crafting expressive single-vineyard Pinot Noirs that reflect the distinct terroir of Central Otago. Bannockburn is recognised for producing rich, complex Pinot Noir with a distinct minerality and bold fruit character, and the 2021 vintage was marked by excellent growing conditions, allowing for optimal ripeness and balance.

Appearance: Bright ruby red with a clear, vibrant edge, indicating freshness and youth.

Aroma: The nose is aromatic and layered, with an enticing bouquet of ripe red cherries, raspberries, and wild strawberries, accompanied by subtle floral notes of violets and rose petals. There are underlying hints of baking spices, dried herbs, and a touch of earthy minerality, characteristic of the Bannockburn terroir.

Taste: Medium-bodied with silky tannins, the palate reveals flavours of red cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, balanced by bright acidity and a savoury undertone of dried herbs and subtle spice.
